Aaron L. Zierke, 44, of Appleton, WI, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, to join all of his grandparents.
Aaron was born in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Gary and Brenda Zierke, on August 23, 1980. He grew up in Ripon, WI, where he participated in Cub Scouts and Little League. Aaron graduated from Ripon High School in 1999 where he lettered in basketball and football. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Fond du Lac and Fox Valley Technical College – Appleton where he studied Environmental Science. Aaron later received his degree in Welding from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton as well. He began and continued with his welding career in the Fox Valley area.
Aaron was blessed with two daughters, Acelyn and Madelyn. His greatest joy was spending time with them doing art projects, science experiments and sharing his love of nature with them, especially catching and releasing “hoppies” (little frogs). Aaron shared his love of fishing with his girls by taking and teaching them to fish. He especially loved nighttime catfishing for the big ones. Aaron was also an avid sports fan, especially of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks.
Aaron is survived by his two daughters, Acelyn and Madelyn; his parents, Gary and Brenda; his sister, Sarah (Jacob); two nieces, Cailyn and Mylyn; uncle Rich (Eileen); aunt Elaine; cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ed and Fayme Zierke; his maternal grandparents, Steve and Sally Kaminski; uncle, Richard Glodowski and godparents, Ed and Chris Koenen.
A private family service was held in memory of Aaron. He will be loved and missed always.
