Alice Drexler

Alice M. Drexler, age 69 of Westfield, formerly of Wabeno and Antigo, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 following a battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Klamerus) Drexler of Antigo, born on November 4, 1944. Alice lived with the family of Norbert and Edna Van Derhyden of Wabeno in her younger years. She graduated from Wabeno High School in 1963.

Survivors include her two brothers, Clarence Jr., Lawton, OK and Richard (Loraine), Barrington, IL; two sisters, Marie (Robert) Rueth, Loyal, WI and Lori (Melvin) Oelrich, Rhinelander, WI; foster sister, Mary (Peter) Jensen, Wabeno, WI; foster brother, Robert (Sandy) Van Derhyden, Westfield, WI. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Darwin, Thomas and Robert.

Alice requested that a private funeral be held to include her immediate family. Burial will be in Westfield South Cemetery. Father Tim Renz will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Budda-Box Fight Against Cancer of Marquette County, P.O. Box 91, Westfield, WI 53964.
