Alvina Rozek

Alvina E. Rozek, age 88 of Montello, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Golden Years Assisted Living in Montello.  She was born on May 30, 1930 in the Town of Springfield, Wisconsin to Hugo and Ella (Lange) Kemnitz.  Alvina worked at Brakebush Brothers in her early 20’s.  She married Wallace Rozek on November 3, 1955 in Rockford, Illinois.  Alvina worked as a farmer all of her life and she enjoyed riding horses.

Survivors include her two brothers, Glenn (Susie) and Leroy (Patty) Kemnitz; two sisters in law, Lillian and Ann Kemnitz.  She also leaves behind many special nieces, nephews other relatives and friends that are going to miss her very much.  Alvina was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers, Howard, Elmer, Arden, Melvin and Eldon Kemnitz; one sister, Lydia Nelson.

A funeral service for Alvina will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating.  A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Hallman Cemetery, Town of Harris.
