Betty Jean Smith

Betty Jean Smith, age 79 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at The Residences on Forest Lane in Montello.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Smith in 2011.  Betty was a well liked and kind person and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Per her wishes there was no formal visitation or service.  Betty is at rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Westfield next to her husband and mother, Eunice.

A special thank you to the staff of St. Croix Hospice and The Residences on Forest Lane for the excellent care of Betty.  A scholarship fund has been set up at the Westfield High School in memory of Jims TV of Oxford to assist students in need.
