Biography

Beverly Ann (Ott) Rau

Beverly passed away on August 18, 2012 at her home in Westfield. This was a special day since it was also her 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Beverly was born on December 29, 1939 in the city of Green Bay. Beverly married Harlan Rau on August 18, 1962 in Forest Junction, WI and together they farmed in Calumet County and later moved to a farm in Marquette County where they raised their family. They then retired and moved to the village of Westfield.

Harlan and Beverly have three sons and two daughter-in-laws: Douglas (Linda) Rau of Minneapolis MN, David (Diane) Rau of Montello WI, Joel Rau of Westfield WI and one daughter and son-in-law: Brenda (Pat) May of Portage WI. They have nine grandchildren: Austin and Emily Rau, Eric, Melissa and Kelly Rau, Jessica and Cassandra May, Brandon and Isaac Rau.
For many years after they retired, they cared for children in their home during the week, and when the weekend rolled around, Beverly and Harlan would be out the door, in their car and headed on a road trip. Their children often joked that they needed to put a GPS on their car so we can find them if their car broke down. Her favorite places to visit were the cities of McGregor, Marquette and Lansing IA.

Beverly was very creative, loved to garden and made delicious deserts that her family enjoyed. She will be greatly missed by all.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Bennie and Myra Ott, siblings Dwane and Arlene and brother-in-law Howard Luckow. She is survived by two sisters Rachel Luckow, Germaine (Verlin) Wandrey and one sister-in-law Betty Ott.

A Private Family Service will be held.
