Clarence "Clary" Behling

Clarence “Clary” Otto Behling returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the age of 70 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Clarence was born March 28, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI.  He was the son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Skorganc) Behling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie (Krueger).

Clary was an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening. Clary loved animals, especially his dogs Whistle and Nell.  He also proudly served his country in the US  Army and continued his service in the National Guard for a total of more than 12 years.  His love for country and the outdoors was surpassed by the love he had for his family and friends.  Through good times and bad he lived, loved and laughed with all.

Clary is survived by his three children, Paul (Angela), Jennifer (Ed) and Dale. He is further survived by sisters, Arlene (Michael), Nancy (James) and Jane; his grandchildren, Jessica, Gregory, Jeremy, Jonathan and Thorsten; great grandchildren, August and Maverick; close friend, Scott Bilgrien; niece, Amy; nephews, Brian and Kevin and many dear friends.

A funeral service for Clarence will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 12:00 noon at St. John's Lutheran Church in Harrisville with Rev. Blaine Niskanen officiating.  Burial will be in Harrisville Cemetery with full military honors presented by the Westfield Honor Guard. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. until the hour of service at church.
