Deborah Oldfield

Deborah “Debbie” L. Wohlfert Oldfield, age 60 of Beloit, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 19, 2014 at her granddaughter’s home in Beloit. She was born on March 5, 1954 in Baraboo, daughter of the late Arthur and Carol (Stalker) Wohlfert. Debbie worked closely with her mom at Carol’s Corner in Beloit for many years where she shared many smiles and laughs with everyone that came in contact with her. She enjoyed John Wayne movies, collecting antiques, fishing and spending time outdoors, but most of all spending time with her granddaughter and great granddaughter who she loved bigger than the world.

Survivors include her three children, Shane Tobias, Beloit, Deanna (Kathy) Tobias, Madison, and Jason (Tiffany) Tobias, Madison; one granddaughter, Anne Tobias; one great granddaughter, Nataly Stevens; one sister, Monica (Sas) Locke, Grand Marsh; two brothers, Daniel (Melody) Wohlfert, Beloit and Randy Wohlfert, Janesville; special friend, Guy Quimby, MN; many other relatives and friends. Debbie was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Tobias.

A memorial service for Debbie will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. with a memorial visitation starting at 5:00 p.m. at Atonement Lutheran Church, 901 Harrison Ave, Beloit, WI 53511. A fellowship reception will follow the service at the church. A graveside inurnment service will be on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Oxford Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family.
