Don Quinn

Don J. Quinn, age 56 of Chadron, NE, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Divine Savior Hospital, Portage. He was born on September 3, 1956 to Kent and Dolores (Kasubaski) Quinn in Portage. Don graduated from Black Hawk High School, South Wayne, WI in 1974. He has lived in the Chadron, NE area for the past 30 years and has worked as a heavy equipment operator. Don cherished his family and many friends across the United States and had a true love for the woods and nature.

Survivors include his four children, Danny (Mary) Quinn and their children, Mikayla, Madison and Megan, all of Kansas City, KS, Ben (Rochelle) Quinn and their children, Ethan and Joshua, all of Norwood, CO, Jennifer (Josiah) Smith and their daughter, Jaelyn, all of Douglas, WY and Jaime Quinn, Chadron, NE; parents, Kent and Dolores Quinn, Westfield; four sisters, Rose Ann Quinn, Madison, Kathy Quinn, Indianapolis, IN, Paula (Joe) Chlebus, Taylorville, IL and Mary (Chuck) Vallner, Montello; good friend, Duane Fox and his family of South Wayne, WI; many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Don will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Alyson Janke officiating. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. A memorial service will also be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Chadron, NE.
