Donald W. Kuenn, age 65 of Montello, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2013 at his home in the Town of Shields. He was born on April 1, 1948 in Milwaukee to Gordon and Audrey (Bingaman) Kuenn.
Don proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.
Survivors include his two sons, Jonathan (Tracy), TX and Karl (Rebecca), CO; three grandchildren, Logan Poppe, Kaylen Kuenn and Kyle Kuenn; sister, Barbara Ann (Rev. Roy) Rose, Green Bay; two brothers, James (Kathleen), Milwaukee and Thomas (Donna), Montello; special companion, Joyce Dahlke, Neshkoro; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Halley and his parents.
A funeral service for Don will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Westfield with Rev. Gary H. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Montello with full military honors. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Memorials would be appreciated to the family.
