Dorothy Horton

Biography Dorothy I. Horton, age 90 of Township of Packwaukee, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Sunny View Health Care Center, Princeton. She was born on August 26, 1916 in Newton, Kansas, daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Miller) Gallup. Dorothy married Kenneth A. Horton on June 12, 1937 in Mt. Morris, Illinois, he preceded her in death on May 15, 1990. She farmed with her husband in the Township of Springfield from 1952-1976 and then moved to Packwaukee.
Survivors include three children, Omer Henry Horton, Township of Packwaukee, Patricia Willard, CA and Dian (Ron) Cook, Fond du Lac; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
A funeral service for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Joe Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
