Dorothy Napralla

April 12, 1925 — June 11, 2013

Dorothy I. Napralla, age 88 of Montello, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Good Samaritan in Lodi while under the care of St. Jude Hospice of Madison. She was born on April 12, 1925 in the Town of New Chester, daughter of the late Albert and Iva (Traver) Raymond. Dorothy married Eugene V. Napralla on November 13, 1943 in Montello, he preceded her in death on September 28, 1982. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, sewing and crocheting. Dorothy was a strong and hardworking lady who was also caring, loving and devoted to family and friends. She loved being a house wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Survivors include her five children, Gary Napralla, Montello, Kent (Linda) Napralla, Montello, Mary (Rodney) Dziadosz, Pardeeville, Mark (Eileen) Napralla, Montello and Tami Dollar, Wisconsin Dells; daughter in law, Cynthia Napralla, New London; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Jean Blada, Wautoma; brother, George (Mary) Raymond, Montello; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gaya Napralla; two sons, Gordon and Rick Napralla; grandson, Eric Dziadosz; granddaughter, Becky Jo Rawson; two great grandchildren, Theo and Jacob Stormer; special friend, Harry Auris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Montello with Father David Carrano officiating. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Montello. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Dorothy’s family would like to thank Columbia County Health Care Center and staff on Willow Ct., Felicia with St. Jude Hospice and Good Samaritan for being there in a time of need.
