Edward F. Robotka, age 85 of Westfield, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026. He was born on January 28th, 1941 in Racine, Wisconsin to Joseph and Violet (Seely) Robotka.
On June 24th, 1961 he married his high school sweetheart, Karen Probst in Racine. They lived in Racine until moving to Westfield in 1996.
He graduated from William Horlick High School and attended Dominican College and the University of Wisconsin and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
His working life was in banking for 43 years. The last 29 years were with M&I Bank where he managed offices in Racine, South Milwaukee, then Adams, Wisconsin until his retirement.
While in Adams, he served on the board of directors and was treasurer of the Adams County Historical Society and Habitat for Humanity. After his retirement, he continued with Habitat for Humanity by helping to build seven homes in the Adams area.
He is survived by his wife Karen of 64 years, sons James (Paula) Robotka of Union Grove, and Robert (Lori) Robotka of Racine, sister Evelyn Cherullo-Raditz of Olympia Washington, and granddaughter Christa Robotka of Budsin, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
At his request there will be no funeral service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
