Elisa Elaine Greiner, “Bugs” to her siblings, age 55, of Westfield, WI died peacefully in her sleep on September 26th, 2024.

Elisa was born in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, the youngest child of Allan and Elaine (Roche) Kangas on January 10th, 1969.

Elisa loved to golf, bowl, cook, and spend time with her family, especially while cheering on her beloved Detroit Lions. During her short time on this earth, she made many friends while working at Thal Acres, where she had been employed since 1987. In that time, she assumed many roles and was knowledgeable in all areas of the business. No doubt, her presence will be deeply missed by many.

Elisa, is survived by her husband, Timothy, daughter, Dakota (Sara) Greiner, and son, Christopher. She is further survived by brother, Kirk (Judy) Kangas, sister, Kathleen Haas, sister, Kristine Kangas, and twin brother, Erick (Amy) Kangas, nephews, Korey (Ceara Carpenter) Kangas, Jesse (Danielle) Kangas, Marvin Haas, Kyle (Kristin) Haas, Kade Kangas, and Kashton Kangas, niece, Kassia Kangas as well as many great-nieces and nephews, and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Greiner. Lastly, she is survived by Shandy, the slightly chubby English Lab, and her three calico cats, Ginger, Olive, and Daisy.

Elisa was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Elaine Kangas, her father-in-law, John Greiner, her brother-in-law, Marv Haas, nephews, Travis, and Dalton Haas.

A private family memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran church in Westfield. A celebration of Elisa’s life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thal Acres Golf and Bowling Complex in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Elisa’s name.
