Everdean Zuehls

Biography Everdean J. Zuehls, age 81 of Montello, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Montello Care Center. She was born on July 3, 1926 in Ripon, daughter of the late George and Jesse (Sattler) Stellmacher. Everdean married Fred Zuehls Jr. on October 8, 1949 in Ripon, he preceded her in death on January 29, 1991. She farmed along side her husband on the family farm in the Township of Shields for many years. Everdean enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include five children, Kathy (Lyle) Strook, Ripon, Dennis Zuehls, Olivia, MN, Ron (Tama) Zuehls, Montello, Todd Zuehls, Olivia, MN and Scott Zuehls, Montello; five grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley Zuehls, Zeb (Melanie), Amanda and Lyncee Zuehls; one great granddaughter, Olivia Zuehls; two brothers, Willard (Dorothy) Stellmacher and Floyd Stellmacher, both of Ripon; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
A funeral service for Everdean will be held on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Montello with Rev. Peter D. Zietlow officiating. Interment will be in Township of Shields Cemetery in the spring. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at the church. Memorials are appreciated to St. John's Lutheran Church, Montello.
