Florence Sopata

Florence C. Sopata, age 77 of Westfield, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at her home. She was born on January 22, 1929 in Chicago, daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Budzyn) Drogos. Florence married Stanley M. Sopata on June 21, 1947 in Chicago, he preceded her in death on July 5, 1999.
Survivors include three children, Jim, Westfield, Pam (Rich) Larsen, Capron, IL and Terry (Karen), Fox River Grove, IL; six grandchildren, Danyl, Jenny (Joe), Niki, Ricky, T.J. and Zach; two great grandchildren, Martin and Anthony; one brother, Stanley Drogos; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by sisters and brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield with Rev. Daniel Kelly officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Township of Westfield. A visitation was held on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 PM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield. A visitation was also held on Saturday at the church from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Westfield served the family.
