Florence Zwolinski

Florence A. Zwolinski “grandma”, age 91 of Westfield, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 with family by her side.  Florence was born to John and Frances (Blahut) Krupa, on January 13, 1926 in Chicago, IL.

She married Joseph Zwolinski on May 4, 1946, and moved to Wisconsin in 1974.  Joseph passed away on March 8, 1987.  Together they had 4 sons, Joseph Zwolinski, Edward (Mary) Zwolinski, Bruce Zwolinski, and Walter Zwolinski and a daughter, Patricia Zwolinski.

Florence and Joseph were the owners of Flo’s Tasty Freeze in Chicago, IL.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved crocheting, gardening, going to rummage sales, cooking for family gatherings, playing lottery tickets, cards and spoiling her grandchildren.

She was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Robert Zwolinski, Edward Jr. (Hattie) Zwolinski, JoAnn (Robert) Bliven and 4 great grandchildren, Ashley Zwolinski, Launa, Chloe and Carson Bliven, sister in law, Geraldine Krupa and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances Krupa, husband, Joseph, 3 brothers, Henry, Edward & Frank, sister, Jean Schwarz, 2 sons, Joseph & Walter, daughter, Patricia and sister in law, Virginia Zwolinski.

Following a cremation there will be a private family gathering to celebrate the life of Florence.  Florence, mom, grandma and grandma 2, we love you and you will always be in our hearts.
