George Tullis

George L. Tullis, age 84 of Westfield, was a resident of Heartland House, Wautoma for the past 5 years. He passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Wild Rose Memorial Hospital. George was born on November 26, 1923 in Hartford, WI, son of the late William and Isabel (Frechette) Tullis. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WW II. George was a member of American Legion Post #244 of Westfield and a former member of the Packwaukee Lions Club.
Survivors include one sister, Doris (Harold) Hartenstein, Oxford; two nephews; one niece; one great niece; one great nephew; other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Luella Tullis.
A funeral service for George will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.at New Beginnings Christian Community Church, Westfield with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Township of Westfield with full military honors. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
