Gladys Edna Mike

Gladys Edna (Meyer) Mike, age 96 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Harris Villa Assisted Living in Westfield. She was born on May 16, 1927 in the Town of Crystal Lake, Marquette County to William and Ella (Scharnberg) Meyer.  Gladys was baptized on June 5, 1927 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Crystal Lake by Rev. R. Eilts.  She was confirmed on March 9, 1941 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Crystal Lake by Rev. August Zaiser.  Gladys married Edwin Mike on September 28, 1946 at Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro by Rev. Martin Huebner.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Janice Parrish, Wautoma; son, Kenneth (Sonja) Mike, Westfield; three grandchildren, Derrick (Sheena) Mike, Westfield, Branden (Kristin) Mike, Oshkosh and Cheretee (Matt) Casey, Merrill; eight great grandchildren, Kypton, Colton, Edwin, Greyson, Kaydence, Dawson, Savannah and Gavin; sister, Lois (Carl) Groskreutz, Waupaca; sister-in-law, Alma Wagner, Westfield; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, an infant daughter and son-in-law, John Parrish.

A funeral service for Gladys will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield with Rev. Jesse Davis and Rev. Dan Bohn officiating. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
