Gordon Schattschneider

Gordon “Gordie” R. Schattschneider, age 76 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1936 in Milwaukee to Henry and Elizabeth (Rietz) Schattschneider. Gordie was married to Joy McFarland, he later married Doreen Feldmann on March 3, 1992. He was a hard worker and enjoyed to help people. Gordie loved to listen to country western music.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Doreen; special mom, Geraldine Tofari, Montello; six children, Jeannette Schattschneider, Milwaukee, Cathy (Rocky) Roberts, KY, Debbie Stone, Menomonee Falls, Lana Schattschneider, OR, Chris (Amber) Feldmann, Adams and Savanah Schattschneider, Westfield; “adopted son”, Joe Mau, Westfield; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Wolk, Red Granite and Evelyn Bauer, Milwaukee; two brothers, Glen, NM and Richard (Helen), MO; other relatives and many friends. Gordie was preceded in death by his special dad, Ted Tofari; daughter, Mary Daye; brothers and sisters.

According to Gordie’s wishes, no service will be held.
