Irene Ruck

Irene Thelma Ruck, age 84 of Oxford, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born on May 20, 1931 in Amherst, Wisconsin to Martin and Laura (Johnson) Gollnick. Irene married Robert E. Ruck in 1948. She enjoyed church activities, especially singing in the choir and quilting. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening and most all, visiting with her family and friends.

Survivors include her six children, Diane Ruck, Oshkosh, David Ruck, Westfield, Richard Ruck, Madison, Lorraine Ruck, Oxford, Robert S. Ruck, Portage and Deb (Tom) Rogstad, Omro; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, Glen (Ann) and their two children, Laura and her two children, Michael (Rhonda) and their two children, Michelle and her two children, Jessica, Martin, Ryan (Jen) and their three children, Randy (Laura) and their two children, Robbie (Tasha) and their two children, Ricky (Ashley) and their one child, Nicole and Samantha; four great great grandchildren, one sister, Linda Mays; three brothers, Harlan (Dawn), Scott (Barbara), and Don (Lorraine) Gollnick; many other relatives and friends. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Robert; two brothers, Gerald (Judy) and Phillip (Doris) Gollnick; brother in law, Dick Mays.

A memorial service for Irene will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Westfield with Rev. Gary H. Schultz officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Westfield at a later date. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church and on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
