James Ronald Compton

James Ronald “Ronnie” Compton, 54, of Westfield, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Ronnie was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to Kathy Hoffman and loved by his stepdad, Ray Hoffman. He graduated from high school in 1989 and went on to build a life centered around his family and the people he loved most.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 20 years, Deb; his stepson, Jordan; his sons, Cougar and Jherred; mom and stepdad, Kathy and Ray Hoffman; and his sister-in-law, Jennifer. Ronnie also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life gathering for Ronnie will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be preferred to Deb so that she can establish a perennial garden in memory of Ronnie.
