Jo Ann Groskreutz, age 73, of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, peacefully with family by her side. She was born on December 19th, 1952, at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI, to Eleanor (Schneider) and Jack Ingram.
Jo Ann graduated from Westfield High School in 1971 and attended MATC to become telephone operator. She completed part of her first year before leaving school to care for her mother, who was battling cancer.
Jo Ann dedicated 35 years of service to the Montello School District before retiring in 2024. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 40 years, Marlin; her three children, Sarah Winger (Andy), Ed Frank (Angie), and Tim Frank (Nichole); seven grandchildren, Allen Grotzke, Kaylie Jo Winger, Taylor Bilberry (Bethany), Mackenzie Frank, Natalie Frank, Eve Frank (Kyle) and Leo Frank; two great-granddaughters, Wyatt and Ruthie Bilberry; two sisters, Marge Standwood (Herb) and Jackie Wises (Dennis); foster daughter Lori Murdock; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Eleanor Ingram; three brothers, Mike, Tom, and Pat; and two sisters, Kris and Loretta.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the SSM Health Hospice Team for the compassionate care and support they provided to Jo Ann and her family during this extremely difficult time. The family would also like to thank Pastor Davis for his visits, prayers, and spiritual support.
A memorial service for Jo will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield with Rev. Jesse Davis officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Budda Box, Inc. or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
