Joanne L. Allen, age 73 of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her home. She was born on May 13, 1935 in Hagerstown, Maryland to Gerald and Louise (Cromer) Barlup. Joanne married James William Allen on June 23, 1952.
Survivors include her husband, James; two daughters, Tamara (Phil Buzzell) Rosemeyer, Madison and Renee (Ralph) Pfeiffer, Stevens Point; one son, James Jr. (Debra Trittin), Madison; four grandchildren, James III (Susan) and Lucas Allen, Max and Gina Pfeiffer; two brothers, Alan and Gerald Barlup; one sister, Elaine Borden and other relatives. Joanne was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Barlup; son in law, Douglas Rosemeyer.
According to Joanne's wishes a private family memorial service will be held.
