Judith Beckwith

Judith “Judy” R. Beckwith, age 62 of Packwaukee, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at her home. She was born on March 24, 1947 in Montello, daughter of the late Adelbert and Clara (Salzwedel) DiBell. Judy was married to Donald Schneider and on July 15, 1974 she married Michael Beckwith. Judy worked at Speed Queen in Ripon and Brakebush Brothers in Westfield for several years before leaving to care for her mother in her home for the last ten years of her mother’s life. She was a passionate gardener, fisherman and artist.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Michael; her beloved canine companion, Baby; six brothers in law, Floyd Davis and Donald Morrical of Montello, John Beckwith, Princeton, Dan (Pam) Beckwith, AZ, John Bong, AZ and Rick Bong, VA; two sisters in law, Terri (Dave) Lowey, FL and Debbie (Ousman) Wayne, Senegal,Africa. Judy blessed the lives of her nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Judy was preceded in death by three brothers, Sylvester, John (Helen) and Moreau (Sharon) DiBell; two sisters, Darlene Davis and Clarice Morrical.
A funeral service for Judy will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Montello with Rev. Sue Bryce officiating. Interment will be in Montello City Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
