Keith Quinn

Keith C. Quinn, age 81 of Westfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the V.A. Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 4, 1929, son of the late Benjamin and Leila (Huber) Quinn. Keith graduated from Westfield High School in 1947. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army being stationed in Japan and serving during the Korean War. Keith married Margaret “Peggy” Henrickson on February 27, 1954 in McFarland. He worked for the McFarland and Portage Dairy. Keith moved back to Westfield where he went into business with his brother, Ellis and started the Village Inn Supper Club. Before completely retiring he worked for the Westfield School District. Keith was a member of the VFW Post # 8718 of Westfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, maintaining Veterans Park in Westfield and especially time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Margaret “Peggy”; three children, Debbra (Rick) Nielsen, Arlington Heights, IL, Richard (Linda) Quinn, Westfield and Jason (Amy) Quinn, Portage; seven grandchildren, Maggi, Aaron, Adam, Joe, Samantha, Katie and Brady; six great grandchildren, Nathan, Kelsey, Kyler, Kimberly, Bode and Peyton; two sisters, Marion Black and Marlene Wenzel; one brother, Robert (Mary) Quinn; two sisters in law, Eloise and Elda Quinn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Keith was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Severson; five brothers, Clair, Pete, Ellis, Neale and Eldon Quinn.

A memorial service for Keith will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Westfield with Rev. Blaine Niskanen officiating. Full military honors will follow the memorial service at the church. Inurnment will be held in Westfield East Cemetery at a later date. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to VFW Post # 8718, Westfield or Budda-Box Fight Against Cancer of Marquette County.
