Lillian Thome

Lillian E. Thome, age 98 of Endeavor, Township of Douglas, Marquette County, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2006 at her home. She was born on March 30, 1908, Township of Packwaukee, daughter of the late Herman and Louise (Klutz) Groskreutz. Lillian married George M. Thome on October 1, 1925 in Westfield, he preceded her in death on August 27, 1979.
Survivors include one son, Carroll Thome, Endeavor; 15 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Wilma Jahn; one son, Donald Thome; one sister, Lena Conger; four brothers, Alvin, Walter, Harry and Clarence Groskreutz.
A funeral service for Lillian will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating. Interment will be in Douglas Cemetery, Township of Douglas. A visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Westfield is serving the family.
