Linda Martha Clark

Linda Martha Clark 84, of Westfield, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Linda was born in Powers, Michigan on July 10, 1942 to parents, Adolph and Edith Rouce.

Linda along with her two brothers, Larry Rouce and Lee Rouce, enjoyed the family farm living. The family moved to Camarillo, California, in the mid 1940's. Linda enjoyed surfing and swimming in the ocean. She would collect natural cave clay in the wagon, to bring home for projects. She also loved her cats, and her parrot.

Linda attended grade school, 1st thru 8th grade in Camarillo. The family then moved to Elkhorn Wisconsin, there Linda finished 9th thru 12th grade. She graduated in 1960. In Linda's sophomore year, she met the love of her life, Virgil Clark.

Linda and Virgil married July 1, 1960, at the Methodist church in Delavan, Wisconsin. In 1961, came their 1st child, Steven and in 1963 came their 2nd child, Shelly. While the kids were young, Linda would babysit local children. When the kids were of school age, Linda received her CNA certificate. She worked at Lakeland Nursing Home for many years. She retired in 2000, due to health concerns.

In 2004, Linda and Virgil, moved to Westfield, WI for retirement. Linda loved to cook and bake (especially houska, lasagna and banana bread). She crafted and enjoyed the holidays. There was always a house full of family and friends. Big feasts that all enjoyed. Linda also enjoyed her love of animals, having cats, chickens, a mule and a donkey. She also enjoyed her flowerbeds. Linda always tried to provide for others, whether it was family, nursing home patients, friends or complete strangers.

Linda will be missed dearly and was loved by many.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Edith Rouce; her in-laws, Gilbert and Grace Clark and brothers Lawrence and Lee Rouce.

Linda is survived by her husband, Virgil Clark, children, Steven Clark (Sheila), Shelly Clark (David); grandchildren, Kimberly (Isaac), Daniel (Ashley) and Kaitlin (Timothy); three great grandchildren, Micaela, Ximena, and Warren; sister-in-law, Joyce Rouce and her children, Tom and Dave Rouce, Lori Jacobson and their spouses.

She will always be in our hearts.

A memorial gathering for Linda will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, 519 S. Charles St. Westfield, WI. No formal service will be held. Inurnment will be at a later date with immediate family.
