Linda Morgan “Ice Racing Granny” age 85 of Packwaukee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 10, 1940 in Galesburg, Illinois to Delwyn and Lulu (Wells) Trout. Linda married Roy Fields and they had four daughters. She later married Lon Morgan on September 20, 1975 and together they moved to Packwaukee in 2000. Linda was a volunteer first responder for the Elkhorn Rescue Squad for 25 years. She worked for the Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delavan, WI. Linda enjoyed ice racing, NASCAR, camping and spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her four daughters, Teresa Cuautle, Anna Fields, Kathleen Fields and Susan Dowdy; two step-children, Gwen (Dave) Freeman and Chris (Yvonne) Morgan; “adopted son”, Ken (Savannah) Wrege; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary, Pat, Norma (Darrel) and Donna (Doug); sister-in-law, Sue Morgan; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lon.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date.
