Lorraine Marotz, age 89 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Martha’s in Princeton. She was born on December 26, 1927 in the Town of Mecan to Otto and Dena (Holtz) Bornick. Lorraine married Alfred Marotz on January 12, 1947 at Big Mecan Lutheran Church, Town of Mecan.
She worked at Long’s Coffee Cup, Westfield and Smith Bakery, Portage. Lorraine enjoyed baking, cake decorating, gardening and taking care of elderly in the community.

Survivors include 5 children, Angie Krueger, Westfield, John (Bonnie) Marotz, Westfield, Steve Marotz, Westfield, Gerry Benner, Westfield and Mary (Bill) Piechowski, Redgranite; 16 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; 1 son in law, Ken Beutler, Westfield; many other relatives and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 daughters, Gert Beutler and Kathy (Fran) Stadele; son in law, Jim Benner; 2 sisters, Elnora Fleegal and Della Stelter; 2 brothers, Elmer and Robert Bornick.

A visitation for Lorraine will be on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Westfield.

A funeral service for Lorraine will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Westfield with Rev. Gary H. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery.

Lorraine’s family would like to thank the staff at Martha’s and the staff at Generations Hospice of Fond du Lac for all the special care they gave to Lorraine.
