Lt. Col. Kenneth E. Strauss, age 90, of Aurora, CO, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015. His wife Phillys Rae preceded him in death in 1970, while his companion of 43 years, Georgia Rux preceded him in death recently. He is survived by his children, Paul (Carolyn), Barbara, and Beth (Brian); grandchildren, Cheryl, Kenneth (Shylo), Michelle, and Brayden; great-grandchildren, Kendra and Stefani; and Georgia's youngest son, Bruce.
A funeral service will be held on Monday January 12, 2015 at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Denver, CO.
A graveside service for Kenneth will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Westfield East Cemetery with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating. Full military honors will follow and will be performed by the United States Air Force.
