Mae Bellows

Mae Elaine Bellows, age 86 of Coloma, went to meet her savior on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. She was born on January 13, 1922 in Beloit, daughter of the late Raymond and Myrtle Atkins. Mae married Kenneth V. Bellows on May 11, 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa, he preceded her in death on September 28, 1973. She loved to sew, paint, garden and be with her family.
Survivors include her loving and caring companion, Richard Overman, Coloma; two daughters, Joyce (Harold) Smith, Oxford and Beverly McGowan, Coloma; ten grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mae was preceded in death by one daughter, Elaine DeMott; great grandson, Tyler Henke and all of her siblings.
A funeral service for Mae will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield. Interment will be in Oxford Village Cemetery, Oxford. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
