Naomi Diekhus

Naomi L. Diekhus, age 55 of Harrisville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 17, 2009. She was born on October 21, 1953 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Bernard and Virgil (Scharnberg) Diekhus. Naomi operated her own hair salon for many years. She enjoyed living in her family homestead on Harris Pond. Naomi had a heart of gold and put others before herself. She loved life and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Eddie (Elizabeth) Diekhus, Portage; one sister, Anita (Charles) Oster, Sussex; Uncle, Harland Scharnberg, Utah; special companion, Ty Stafford, Dalton; other relatives and many friends. Naomi was preceded in death by her niece and god daughter, Jeannie Oster and her aunt, Ann Scharnberg.
A memorial gathering for Naomi will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Harrisville Lion’s Building. Inurnment will be in Harrisville Cemetery at a later date.
