Norman McChesney

Norman T. McChesney, age 91 of Township of Packwaukee, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2008 at his home. He was born on March 24, 1917, Township of Arpin, WI, son of the late Errol and Mary (Beggs) McChesney (Cutler). Norman married Eunice Grant on August 10, 1941, she preceded him in death on September 9, 1999. He farmed in the Township of Packwaukee on the family farm since 1950. Norman was an active member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Oxford. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.
Survivors include two children, James (Carol) McChesney and Janice (Sonny Klawitter) Walters, both of Township of Packwaukee; eight grandchildren, Tammy (Jan) McChesney, FL, Brenda Smith, FL, Sherry Schultz, IL, Theresa Symonds, Township of Packwaukee, Rebecca Boyle, Adams and Daniel (Sara Smalley) McChesney, Guy (Jenny) Walters, Erika (Luke Miller) Walters, all of Township of Packwaukee; 12 great grandchildren; one sister, Roselyn "Posy" Edwards, NC; other relatives and friends. Norman was preceded in death by one brother, Robert McChesney.
A funeral service for Norman will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Oxford with Pastor Wendell Springer and Pastor Christian Ronalds officiating. Interment will be in Underhill Cemetery, Township of Packwaukee. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
