Patricia "Trish" Meiller

Patricia “Trish” A. Meiller, age 62 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison.  She was born on December 1, 1955 in Friendship to Herbert and Bernice (Wentland) Briese.  Trish married William J. Meiller on April 26, 1975 in Coloma.

Trish was a very vibrant woman who enjoyed making the lives of the people around her brighter.  Whether she was working in her gardens, taking care of her animals, teaching Sunday School, playing cards, fishing with her grandkids, walking with her sisters, or talking with everyone she met, she always had a way of making the people around her feel special.  Over the years she touched the lives of many children between daycare and teaching Sunday School. She would never let people leave her home hungry; physically or emotionally. Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of the all the people that she has touched over the years, especially her family.

Survivors include her three children, Melissa (Brian) Drinka, Neillsville, Amanda (Dean Burby) Meiller, Westfield and James (Callie) Meiller, Fitchburg; 11 grandchildren, Skylar, Abraham, William and Laurna Drinka, Matthew, Alexander and Ervin Meiller, Destiny Burby, Tyson, Robin and Graden Meiller; father, Herb Briese; two sisters, Karen (Dale) Robinson and Paula (Gary) Potter; sister (in-law), Leela (Larry) Brink; many other relatives and close friends.  Trish was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Briese; husband “Boyfriend”, Bill Meiller and her mother in law, Constance Meiller.

A funeral service for Trish will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Coloma with Rev. Joyce Heintz officiating.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Town of Springfield, Marquette County.  A visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
