Raymond Schaub Jr.

Raymond H. Schaub Jr., age 59 of Harrisville, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.  He was born on January 20, 1959 in Munich, Germany to Raymond and Margarete (Kubitzki) Schaub Sr.  For years, Ray operated Lakeland Liquidators in Oxford.  He was currently a driver for Medvan Transport.  Ray enjoyed making creations out of recycled wood to sell.  He loved to grow new plants and send post cards to his grandson with an educational tip or joke.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Bridgman; daughter, Ashley (Chad) Boraca; grandson, Nathan Boraca; sister, Margarete Sepich; other relatives and friends.  Ray was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Abigail Rae Boraca and his sister, Barbara Tigges.

A memorial gathering for Ray will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield.  No formal service will be held.
