Richard Ruck

Richard Dean Ruck, age 62 of Madison, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born on January 17, 1955 in Portage to Robert E. and Irene (Gollnick) Ruck. Richard graduated from Westfield High School in 1973. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed riding his Harley, which he restored himself, reading and his job. Richard was currently working for USIC of Madison as a locator.

Survivors include his three sisters, Diane Ruck, Oshkosh, Lorraine Ruck, Oxford and Deb (Tom) Rogstad, Omro; two brothers, David Ruck, Oxford and Robert S. Ruck, Portage; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service for Richard will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Westfield with Rev. Gary H. Schultz officiating. Full military honors will follow the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Westfield at a later date. A visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
