Robert Sonnenberg Sr

Robert L. Sonnenberg Sr. "Pete", age 82 of Westfield, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Wisconsin Dells Health and Rehab. He was born on April 10, 1924 in the Township of Springfield, Marquette County, son of the late Fredrick and Augusta (Zinke) Sonnenberg. Robert married Mildred Jean Brewer on March 25, 1956, she preceded him in death on August 27, 1987. He lived and farmed on the Sonnenberg Homestead all of his life and was employed at Applied Power, Westfield for over 20 years. He enjoyed trapping, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Jr. (Candace), Westfield, Randall (Barbara), Watertown and Ronald, Westfield; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Jill, Whitney, Kallie, Erinne, Jordan, Megan, Jackson, Lauren, Justin Sonnenberg and Stina Dillman; three sisters, Mavis Voboril, Manitowoc, Betty Gaffney, Briggsville and Sally (Russell) Bandt, Wautoma; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Gordon, Lester and Dean Sonnenberg; one sister, Lucille Zuhlke; infant sister, Phyllis Mae and infant brother, Fred William.
A funeral service for Robert will be held on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 4:00 PM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield. Inurnment will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 PM at the funeral home until the hour of service.
