Ronald Beitzel

December 5, 1937 — November 27, 2006

Ronald A. "Ron" Beitzel, age 68 of Montello, was called to his heavenly home on November 27, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of Elmer and Loraine (Winkelman) Beitzel of Milwaukee. Ron retired from Henkel Surface Technology in Oak Creek, WI and moved to Montello. He was past president and secretary of the Montello Lions Club and president of St. John Lutheran Church of Harrisville council. Ron loved giving communion to the sick until he could no longer perform this duty. He also loved golfing with all his friends and along with his wife, operating the Montello Resale Store. Ron was married to Virginia Wypiszynski for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; two sons, David (Sandy) and Scott (friend, Lisa) Beitzel; one granddaughter, April Dawn Beitzel; three grandsons, Michael and Andrew Wyker and David Beitzel; one brother, Gary (Kris) Beitzel; three sisters in law, LaVerne (Ralph) Rutkowski, Loretta (Ron) Johnson and Agnes (Terry) Paffenroth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dawn Marie; brother in law, Dave Whypp and his father and mother in law, William and Louise Wypiszynski.
A memorial service for Ron will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, Harrisville with Rev. Robert Fisher officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.

The family would like to thank St. Agnes Hospice Hope, Berlin for their wonderful care they gave to Ron.
