Stanley A. Blicharz, age 83, of Westfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Friday, January 2, 2026, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. He was born on March 27, 1942, in Chicago to Stanley and Frieda (Hardt) Blicharz.
Stan and his wife, Nancy, were married for 53 wonderful years. They enjoyed vacationing together, gambling, and spending time with their family. Stan was an avid pheasant hunter and loved walking the fields with his German Shorthairs. He spent most of his career in sales and ultimately owned his own agency. He loved visiting clients and engaging with people. Quick with a joke or words of wisdom, he was well respected in his field. Stan was a man of strong faith and has always been very involved with the church. He spent time with the Knights of Columbus and loved getting smiles from the kids while clowning in parades. Stan was also a devoted Chicago Bears fan and looked forward to watching the games every Sunday, sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends. Stan was the kind of person everyone gravitates toward genuinely- kind, and effortlessly likable. He will be greatly missed.
Stan is survived by his wife, Nancy, and their children: Tony (Jenny) Blicharz, and Julie (Robert) McCollum; grandchildren: Cassidie, Cody, Olivia and Amelia. Carol Blicharz (previous marriage) and their children: Jeff Blicharz, Michele (Tom) McConnell; grandchildren: Tristin, Bradyn. His sister: Patricia Cottam; brothers-in-law: Ray Klaczynski, Jerry (Cindy) Kroetz, Paul (Luanne) Kroetz; Sister-in-law: Patricia Kroetz; and many other close relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Joan, Connie, and Sharon; and two brothers: Bobby and Ron.
