Stanley (Stan) Frank Kaminski, age 83, of Montello passed away after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 27th in the comfort of his home surrounded by family. He met and married the love of his life, Betty Boal on January 7th, 1950. Together they raised 4 children. Stan is survived by his wife of 59 years. Children include Janet (Sam) Faulkner of Montello, Jerry (Laurie) Kaminski of Montello, Jane (Steve) Redenius of Janesville, and James (Gail) Kaminski of Portage. He has 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, one sister, Irene (Don) Range of Woodstock, IL and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Anna Kaminski of Marengo, IL, a brother Edward Kain of California, a grandson Michael Faulkner and a son-in-law David Faulkner.

Stan was born in Chicago, IL on September 10, 1925. Stan and his family moved to Wisconsin in 1966 where they farmed. He enjoyed growing and selling vegetables, delivering the Shopper Stopper and visiting with friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing things with his family. Stan also worked for many years at Penda where he retired from. He enjoyed the Buffalo Bible Church family, where he was an active board member for many years.

A funeral service for Stan will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Buffalo Community Bible Church, Montello with Rev. Ron Larson officiating. Inurnment will be in Underhill Cemetery in the spring. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
