Steven Quinn

Steven Jon Quinn, age 73 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon December 18, 2013 at U.W. Hospital in Madison with his family at his side. The son of Gordon and Marian (Dewar) Quinn was born on March 1, 1940 in Portage. On August 24, 1974, Steve married Karen Manweiler in Westfield. They lived in Fond du Lac for 18 years while he worked at Mercury Outboard Motors. He retired in 1992 and moved back to Westfield. Steve loved horse racing. In his younger days, Steve was a jockey and raced on the smaller tracks around the Midwest. He also loved NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; two sons and three daughters, Allen (Cathy) Quinn, Fond du Lac, Debra (Dave) Novitski, Green Bay, Stephanie (Rick) Roth, Fond du Lac, Sandra (Tom) Straub, Fond du Lac and John (Peggy) Morgan, Fond du Lac; 12 grandchildren, Steven (Libbey) Quinn, David Quinn, Kevin, Tim and Brian Novitski, Ana, Jenna and Becca Roth, Chantelle and Taylor Straub, Ashley (Frank) Garcia and Brian Morgan; five great grandchildren, Aubrey, Avril and A.J. Quinn, Morgan and Cash Garcia; brother, Kermit Quinn, San Francisco, CA; sister in law, Dolores Quinn, Westfield; other relatives and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kent.

A funeral service for Steve will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Alyson Janke officiating. Burial will be in Westfield East Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
