William “Bill” Pflum, 85, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Tomahawk, Bill later moved to Oxford to marry the love of his life, Phyllis. Together, they built a life centered on love, commitment, and family, sharing nearly 50 years of marriage.
He was a proud father to his son Will and daughter-in-law Liz, and found his greatest joy in his cherished grandchildren, Marshall, Jasmyne, and Taylor.
Bill was one of the hardest workers you could find, spending his career on the dock at the FS feed mill. His dedication, reliability, and quiet strength earned the respect of all who knew him.
A man of deep faith, Bill loved the Lord and devoted many hours to serving at Oxford Bible Church. One of his greatest joys was helping prepare the Easter breakfast each year, a tradition he looked forward to.
He found happiness in life’s simple moments—Sunday car rides with his family and quiet summer afternoons spent fishing with Will. Though a quiet man, Bill had a sharp and memorable wit, often delivering just the right comment to bring a smile or laughter to those around him.
Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather—a steady presence whose love for his family was constant and unwavering.
A service to honor his life will be held at Oxford Bible Church on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Stickler officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in Oxford Village Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family as they plan to memorialize Bill at the Oxford Bible Church.
Bill’s legacy is one of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love—a life well lived and a man who will be deeply missed.
