William Schauer

William R. Schauer, age 72 of Westfield, WI, formerly of Berwyn, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Divine Savior Hospital, Portage. He was born on September 17, 1934, Chicago, son of the late William O. and Clara (Bell) Schauer. Bill served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Union Carbide/Viskase Corp., Chicago as an electrical engineer for 43 years. Bill was an avid hunter and naturalist.
Survivors include his two children, Teresa (Richard) Rollinson, Westfield, William (Sandra) Schauer II, Bolingbrook, IL and their mother, Jeanette (Meester) Schauer, IL; three grandchildren, Wesley, Jessica and Paul; one brother, James (Karen) Schauer, MO; companion in life, Meri Jo Klos, Westfield; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Bill will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home, Westfield with Pastor Terry Temanson officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Township of Springfield, Marquette County with full military honors. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
