Arthur Dee

Arthur Emil Dee, age 87 of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 8th, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family.  Arthur was born on January 20, 1932 in rural Harrisville. He graduated from Westfield High School and received his post-secondary degree from Oshkosh Business College. On June 4th, 1955 Arthur married Dorothy (Buchholz) at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Springfield, WI. His employment history included Allis Chalmers, Milwaukee; Brakebush Brothers, Westfield; M&I Bank, Coloma & Almond, as well as Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Arthur was a person of great faith, and sincerely lived that faith through service to his loving Lord and everyone around him. He was active in many groups within the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, the Coloma community, and the banking organization –and was always ready with a big smile, a hug, or a firm handshake.

Arthur is survived by his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Carla Dee of Milwaukee; Paula (Dee) Becker (Fiancé, Mike Mittelstedt) of Westfield, one grandson Matthew (Ruth) Becker of Fond Du Lac, and one granddaughter, Rachel Becker of Madison as well as other relatives and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur & Alma (Mueller) Dee; two brothers, Howard and Robert Dee, and son-in-law John C. Becker.

A funeral service for Arthur will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield with Rev. Gary H. Schultz and Rev. Rodney Armon officiating.  Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Springfield.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Camp LuWISoMo, Wild Rose; Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield or the Coloma Lions.
